Q. How often should I get my chimney/flue swept?

All woodburning stoves with flexible liners should be swept a minimum of once a year, preferably prior to the winter season. If your wood burner is connected to a central heating system, the stove and chimney should be cleaned twice a year. It is also very important that the stove throat/baffle plate is removed and checked for build up of soot on a quarterly basis.

Please contact Embers NE for all your stove servicing requirements.
